Overview
Loxoprofen sodium (CS-600) is an effective and oral sodium inhibitor of COX-1 and COX-2 with IC50 of 6.5 and 13.5 ?M, respectively. Loxoprofen sodium works by reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. Loxoprofen sodium has anti-inflammatory and antitumor activity and can be used to treat atherosclerosis.
