Overview

It can be used to prepare Coralyne derivatives, a fluorescent DNA-based molecular rectifier built into DNA duplexes through site-specific insertion. It acts as a topoisomerase I toxic molecule, inducing topoisomerase I-mediated DNA cleavage.
