BACKGROUND
Flt4 is a tyrosine-kinase receptor for vascular endothelial growth factors C and D. The protein is responsible for lymphangiogenesis and maintenance of the lymphatic endothelium and vascular development.The VEGF signaling pathway is critical in embryonic vasculogenesis and angiogenesis where Flt4 is present in the endothelial cells |
