PE 154 is a potent fluorescent inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) with IC50s of 280 pM and 16 nM respectively. PE 154 is commonly used to label ?-amyloid plaques in histochemical analysis.
