Combretastatin A-1 is a potent microtubule inhibitor with anti-tumour and anti-vascular activity, acting through microtubule protein depolymerisation-mediated inactivation of AKT to inhibit the Wnt?-catenin pathway, and can be used to study hepatocellular carcinoma.
