7 Beta-Hydroxycholesterol (7?-Hydroxycholesterol) is an oxysterol contained in animal-derived foods. It is an oxidative stress inducer and a candidate marker for assessing cardiovascular risk factors in obesity. It can induce oxidative stress and inflammation and promote atherosclerosis.
