N-Caffeoyltryptophan (trans-Caffeoyl-L-tryptophan), a potential Sirt inhibitor, is screened using coffee extract. N-Caffeoyltryptophan inhibited Sirt2 (IC50; 8.7 ?M) better than Sirt1(IC50; 34?M).
